Innovative-RC high strength light weight HPI baja 5B & 5T spur gear – 57Tooth Gear.

This spur gear is made from very high grade resin bonded phenolic reinforced laminated materials. To form a light weight yet very tough and durable gear with excellent wear resistance & impact resistance for those big bore engines. Although this gear is made from laminated bonded materials this still offers excellent stability resistances to varying temperatures and moisture found when using the HPI Baja in racing & bashing in all weathers and conditions. As this gear is not made from steel this leads to a much quieter running gear when running on a steel pinion gear.

Please note: this spur gear is designed to work with the HPI Pinion gear set (all tooth numbers), and is a Metric gear form tooth, this may work with other makes and types of pinion but we can not guarantee it.

Installation:
This spur gear still uses the stock Spur gear holder plate with the 4 dampers (part# 85428).
remove the spur gear from the HPI baja, as per manual, remove the spur gear holder plate (85328) and insert into the Innovative-RC spur gear, and refit the spur gear as per manual instructions with the HPI baja.
