This part replaced the stock HPI Baja brake caliper mount. giving a much better braking grip and no flex.

Made from 6082-T6 with hardened pins for strength and wear resistance while maintaining a smooth braking power.

Smart-Fly - dual-battery SportReg

The Smart-Fly dual-battery regulators provide the user with battery redundancy and a remote on/off switch. There are two versions available for different size planes, which are described below.

The Smart-Fly SportReg is ideal for .60 glow through 50cc gas planes and small jets. The regulator uses standard R/C connectors for both input and output connections.
The unit will handle 5 amps continuous current with peaks to 8 amps. The unit has dual battery inputs for redundancy and has a built-in BatShare to balance battery draw and prevent a bad battery pack from affect a good pack. It is meant to be used with 2-cell Li-ion or Li-Poly packs.
It features adjustable voltage output from approximately 5.1V to 6.4V. It supports the use of an optional failsafe switch. Its small size and weight make it ideal for smaller planes.

CAUTION: When the regulator is operated with the optional failsafe-switch it presents a slight load to your battery even when off. This load is 0.4mAH or about 10mA out of your pack for each 24-hour period. You should disconnect the battery if you the plane will be sitting for more than a couple days.

These Muffer can be assembled with the DL50, DLE55, DL100 & DLE111 Engines.This can reduce noise when your fly the airplane.

Polished Aluminium Canister with Stainless Steel Flexible Header pipe and teflon coupler with two spring clamps.

Smart-Fly - PowerExpander Sport Plus

PowerExpander Sport Plus

The Smart-Fly PowerExpander provides full power to servos and clean power to receivers at an affordable price.
The PowerExpander family can be used with 5-cell NiCd/NiMH packs directly or you can add a SuperReg or TurboReg for use with lithium cells.
The PowerExpanders do not have regulators for the servos, whatever comes in the power input conectors goes straight to the servos. The PowerExpander Sport Plus is specifically designed for NiCd/NiMH for 40cc-85cc planes.

All the PowerExpanders have a receiver regulator that takes power from the two power inputs, filters it and regulates it down to 5.0 volts so the receivers always see clean power regardless of what the servos do.

The PowerExpander Sport Plus is designed specifically for 5-cell NiCd/NiMH or 2-cell A123 battery packs.
It uses standard R/C plugs to connect the battery packs to the unit. For this reason, it is recommended for planes with 40cc to 85cc gas engines. It also has a built in BatShare, Ignition Cutoff and can be used with an optional failsafe switch. For detailed information please see the user manual links above the picture.

Smart-Fly - BatShare Standard

The Smart-Fly BatShare enables you to use two battery packs and two switches to provide Dual-Redundant security to your airborne system, just like in full-size aircraft.

With the Smart-Fly BatShare, you can tolerate a single failure (open-circuit, short-circuit, low voltage) in either battery pack, or switch, or battery wiring, without losing radio control.
The Smart-Fly BatShare continually monitors both battery packs and switches for the one with the higher voltage, and routes that to your Rx and servos. You may combine different size packs. In practice, with two good packs, the BatShare draws power equally from both packs, adding their individual capacities. I.e., if Battery #1 is a 6V/1350mAH pack, and Battery #2 is a 6V/2700mAH pack, you will have 4050mAH power supply onboard, with at least 1350mAH to fly on, in case of a failure.

Smart-Fly - Ignition Regulator 5.2V

The Ignition Regulator is designed for use with lithium batteries and electronic ignitions.

The Ignition Regulator has a fixed 5.2V output and has a current capability of 3A continuous.
The regulator has a large output capacitor to handle the peak currents required by an electronic ignition. The regulator has universal connectors with 22-gauge wire.

Ignition Cutoff for engines with electronic ignition controllers

The Ignition Cutoff provides safety and convenience for your gas powered plane. The unit has two modules that are connected by a fiber-optic cable.
There is no electrical connection between your ignition and your radio system. The unit recognizes dual-receiver setups and allows your engine to keep running if you lose power to the receiver the Cutoff is controlled by your second receiver which still has power. You are not forced to land dead-stick as with other units on the market.
The LED on the ignition side is removable and extendable with standard extensions. The LED is not required for the unit to operate properly.

This screw kit will fit all HPI Baja modes (SS, etc)

These Screws kits contain over 300 components all with in a easy to access safe convenient storage container with each compartment labelled to show type, size and part number to speed up finding that all important replacement screw out at the field.
All screws in this kit are allen key type screws (socket cap screws) with a black finish and metric threads to give the best possible fixing of components.
Washers and & nuts are zinc plated for that all important rush free protection to keep your RC model looking in a healthy condition from a good days bashing.

These kits contain enough components to build 1 Baja so you can be sure to always have plenty of spare screws to hand.

Simply remove the little spacers on under the tower on the front of the baja and insert this new bracket in there place. (WORKS with RPM Top Arms)
