23mm Heavy Duty Wheel Hex - Complete Set for HPI savage (4x) BLACK Anodized

23mm wheel hex adapters for the HPI Savage finished in a hard wearing durable clear anodized finish. These wheel hexes are designed to fit the HPI 17mm AXLE 8x15x42mm (Part number:# 86393, or CVD version # 87229). This is to over come the common problem of braking and snapping the standard type of axles when used in exstream bashing situations.

These wheel hexes have a 23mm hex on the back to fit with in the 23mm wheel rims with a 22mm front locking nut so no special spanner is required when using these wheel hexes, a 22mm socket or a 7/8" socket (not supplied, but can be brought from any good DIY shop for cheap!) can be used to tighten these hexes up.
These wheel hexes also come in left hand and right hand threaded types just like the standard savage wheel lock nuts. This is to insure that the wheel nuts are always kept fully tightened while in use keeping your wheels firmly in place at all times!!
While also a pin is inserted with in the wheel hex with a locking grub screw with in the wheel hex area to hold the hex onto the truck, so no 2nd nut is relayed upon when fixing these wheel hexes to the truck along with no loctite as the grub screw can never come out while the wheel is in place, unlike other common after market wheel hexes!

Will fit 40 series and standard 23mm hex size wheels.
